The DIY Enclosure is an affordable, beginner-friendly option that makes it easy to set up a safe home simulator. The Pro Enclosure offers larger bays, more durability, and better safety—great for commercial use or high-end home setups. The Curved Enclosure adds an immersive curved screen for a panoramic experience that surrounds the golfer.
How much space do I need for an enclosure?
Make sure to allow space around the enclosure for safety and comfort. Stand at least 10–12 feet from the screen, and check the overall enclosure footprint. When will my enclosure ship?
Enclosures are custom-made to order, so production times can vary. For accurate shipping estimates, add your item to the cart and enter your shipping details.
Can the black fabric enclosure take a golf ball hit?
It's not designed for direct hits, but if a shot bounces off the screen and hits the enclosure, it should hold up without any issues.
Can I order a replacement screen?

How big is the enclosure?
Frame dimensions vary based on the model. The C-Series includes built-in rear buffer space with a backset rear fitting. Always check the specs for the full footprint of your chosen enclosure.
What kind of pipes are used for the enclosure frame?
We use EMT (Electrical Metal Tubing) for all enclosure frames. DIY kits need 1" EMT; Pro and Curved kits require 2" EMT. You can either source pipes locally or add a Pipe Framing Kit for pre-cut, labeled pipes that fit your enclosure perfectly.
How long does it take to assemble?
Assembly takes about 4 hours, and it's easier with two or more people. Setup involves connecting the pipe frame and attaching the enclosure and screen components.
Is the Curved Enclosure really DIY?
Yes! With basic tools and a second set of hands, you can assemble it yourself. If you've built IKEA furniture, you’ve got this.
Do I need special pipes for the Curved Enclosure?
The Curved Enclosure uses 2" EMT pipes. We recommend adding the Pipe Framing Kit so you don’t have to source and cut the pipes yourself. If ordering outside the U.S., note that freight shipping may be costly for the framing kit.
Do I need a special projector for the curved screen?
For the best image alignment, use a projector with built-in image warping (like BenQ AK700ST or LG ProBeam), or use warping software like Immersive Display Pro. Be sure to measure the throw distance to the front edge of the curved screen, not the deepest point.
How do I attach the screen with ball bungees?
Insert the looped end of the bungee through a screen grommet from the back. Wrap it around the frame, then hook the cord over the toggle ball to secure. Adjust tension using the included zip ties or different bungee lengths as needed.

Most Carl's Place products including enclosures, impact screens, hitting mats, hitting strips, swing cameras, and accessories are delivered within 7-10 business days following the standard processing time.
Custom Product Delivery Time:
Carl's Place custom enclosures, impact screens, and Built-In Screens are delivered within 7-14 business days following the standard processing time. Carl's Place Built-In Panel Kits are delivered within 14-21 business days following the standard processing time.
Standard Shipping Process:
Upon your products leaving the warehouse, you will be provided with tracking information via email. If you place an order and have not received a shipping notification, your order is likely still being processed.
Shipping Rates:
Free standard shipping is offered on most Carl's Place products. Carl's Place Pipe Framing Kits for Pro Golf Simulator Enclosures, Back Cover Pipe Kits for Pro Golf Simulator Enclosures, and Built-In Panel Kits are required to ship freight due to their size and weight. Freight shipping charges are applied at checkout.
