It includes a premium impact screen, screen mounting kit, and blackout wall panels with all the hardware needed for a secure fit.

To get the most out of this kit, your space should have standard 2x4 wood framing and no baseboards. If your walls and ceilings are finished with plywood, installation becomes even easier. For other room types, some customization may be needed.

 

Custom-Fit Screen With No Frame Pipes

The screen in this kit mounts directly to the walls—no pipes or metal framing required. It comes with corner anchors, pulleys, cables, and zip ties to fine-tune screen tension.

You can easily adjust how tight the screen is to reduce bounce-back and enhance projection clarity. Once it's in place, screen flaps attach cleanly using hook-and-loop strips or starter panels for a smooth, finished look.

Each panel has a foam-padded core and fabric covering on both sides, with a total thickness of about 2 to 2.5 inches. They mount securely with French cleats and Z-clips, giving your space a polished, high-end appearance while protecting surrounding surfaces.

Carl’s golf room curtains are ideal for covering windows or doorways, especially when a full enclosure isn’t possible.

They pull out easily when it’s time to play, then retract neatly out of the way. In commercial spaces, they’re perfect for dividing bays, blocking light, and offering privacy. Designed to look sharp from both sides, they add function and a professional touch to any simulator setup.

Requirements

Installation Overview

Setting up your Built-In Golf Room Kit involves a step-by-step process:

1. Review & Measure – Start by carefully reading the instructions and measuring your space.

2. Install Framework – Mount the cable system and corner anchors.

3. Attach the Screen – Use the cables and zip ties to secure your screen, then adjust the tension for best results.

4. Add Wall Protection – Install curtains or wall panels to protect against stray shots.

5. Add Ceiling Protection – Mount the ceiling panels for complete coverage.

6. You're Ready to Play – Once setup is complete, you're good to go.

Space Requirements

To ensure a comfortable and functional setup, make sure your room meets the following minimum dimensions:

• Depth: 18 feet (includes 1 ft behind the screen, 10 ft from tee to screen, and 7 ft behind the tee)

• Width: 14 feet for a centered tee position

• Height: 9 feet minimum recommended for a full swing

• Maximum Height: 11 feet. Taller ceilings must be framed down to 11 feet or less

Note: If you’re using an overhead launch monitor, it typically needs to be mounted 9–10 feet above the hitting surface.

Who This Kit Is For

This kit is ideal for those with basic construction or handyman skills. To get that clean, built-in look, you should be able to:

• Install a screen 1 foot away from a flat wall

• Use a laser level to line up components precisely

• Remove any baseboards or trim in the way

• Anchor lag screws into wall studs

Standard Delivery Time:

Custom Product Delivery Time:

Carl's Place custom enclosures, impact screens, and Built-In Screens are delivered within 7-14 business days following the standard processing time. Carl's Place Built-In Panel Kits are delivered within 14-21 business days following the standard processing time.

Standard Shipping Process:

Upon your products leaving the warehouse, you will be provided with tracking information via email. If you place an order and have not received a shipping notification, your order is likely still being processed.

Shipping Rates:

Free standard shipping is offered on most Carl's Place products. Carl's Place Pipe Framing Kits for Pro Golf Simulator Enclosures, Back Cover Pipe Kits for Pro Golf Simulator Enclosures, and Built-In Panel Kits are required to ship freight due to their size and weight. Freight shipping charges are applied at checkout.

Returns and Refunds

• Products may be returned within 30 days if unused and in original packaging

• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs

• A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns
